She a co-founder\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/allsidesforschools.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AllSidesforSchools.org<\/a>\u00a0a partnership between\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/allsides.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AllSides.com<\/a>\u00a0and Living Room Conversations.<\/p>\n<p>She is also a co-founder of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/momsrising.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MomsRising.org<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0and\u00a0<u><a href=\"http:\/\/moveon.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MoveOn.org<\/a><\/u>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0She is a\u00a0co-author of\u00a0<em>The Custom-Fit Workplace<\/em>,\u00a0 winner of a Nautilus book award in 2011 and<em>\u00a0The Motherhood Manifesto<\/em>, which won the Ernesta Drinker Ballard Book Prize in 2007.<\/p>\n<p>Last century Joan was a software entrepreneur, a co-founder of Berkeley Systems \u2013 best known for the flying toaster and game You Don\u2019t Know Jack.
