She is also a co-founder of\u00a0MomsRising.org<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0and\u00a0MoveOn.org<\/a><\/u>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0She is a\u00a0co-author of\u00a0The Custom-Fit Workplace<\/em>,\u00a0 winner of a Nautilus book award in 2011 and\u00a0The Motherhood Manifesto<\/em>, which won the Ernesta Drinker Ballard Book Prize in 2007.<\/p>\n

Last century Joan was a software entrepreneur, a co-founder of Berkeley Systems \u2013 best known for the flying toaster and game You Don\u2019t Know Jack.
